US President Donald Trump has extended sweeping restrictions on the H-1B non-immigrant visa route for an additional twelve months, keeping a mandatory $100,000 fee in place for specific foreign professionals, including technology workforce, looking to enter America. According to an official proclamation issued by the White House, the curbs originally implemented in September 2025 will now run through September 21, 2027.
